DOROUGH OF HAMILTON. NOTICE is hereby given that at a Special Meeting of the Hamilton Borough Council, duly convened by the Mayor, and held at the Council Chambers, Hamilton, on the third day of May, 188G, the following resolution was adopted :—: — That the Council of the Borough of Hamilton, Waikato, do hereby resolve to make, by "Special Order," at this Special Meeting, hold on Monday, the third day of May, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-six, a Special Bate of ninepence three farthings in the £1 on the annual value of all rateable property within the Borough of Hamilton, for the security of the loan of six thousand pounds (£0000) and interest thereon, borrowed from the Post Office Savings Bank of New Zealand for a period of fifty years, for the purpose of erecting public buildings, improving domain lands, &c, &c, the instalments of same to be payable half-yearly on the first day of July and January in each year during the currency of the said Loan. And, further, that this resolution be publicly notified in accordance with clause 83, " Municipal Corporations Act, 1876," and confirmed at a special meeting hereby resolved to be held on Monday, the 31st instant, or at any adjournment thereof. HAMILTON DOMAIN BOARD. Tenders for Clearing, Levelling and Ploughing. TENDERS will be received till 7.30 p.m. on MONDAY, the 10th May next, for CLEARING, LEVELLING, and PLOUGHING Domain lands, Hamilton East, as per specifications to be seen at this office. The committee will meet intending contractors at Manktelow's corner at 3 p.m. on Monday, 3rd May next, to show the work and give all particulars. Lowest or any tender not necessarily accepted. J. M.
