The Australian Jockey Club's Autumn Meeting. [REUTERS CABLEGRAM.] Sydney, May 1.

The concluding day's racing of the Australian Jockey Club's Autumn Meeting took place to-day at Randwick. In the Place Handicap Nelson ran a groat horse, carrying 9st 31bs home in tront of a field of eleven, in the splendid time of 2mins 38J sees. The greatest interest was centred in the meeting of Nelson and Matchlock in the A. J.C. Plate, which, after a great content, ended in a half-length victory for the Champion winner. The following were the results of the various events: — Rous Handicap. MrJ. Dyke's Cairo, 1 Mr T. Henty's Remus 2 Mr H. Herbert's Bon Accord 3 Time 2mins 20^ecis. Plac« Handicap, a free handicap sweepstake of lOaovi each for starters, with 300 soys added. For horses that have run tint, second, or third in any race of the value of 100*o vs or upwards, in which not less than six horses have started, after the Autumn Meeting of 1885.
