Miv Lorrigan, however, who had made ] arrangementa to miir here, unfortunately missed the train. The local ladies, howover, left little cause fur disappointment. In Mi«i MKsen we had an e\cellent performer on the piano. Mr (Jie>ham's reading, "Artemus Ward on Woman's Right*, '' was given in the inimitable ntyle peculiar to that gentleman, and elicited heaity laughter. The attendance was good, as usual, and after the concert dancing was kept up till far into the night. Mr and Mi^s Taylor ; «ong, "Thy Face, Mr Stanton ; song, " Dear Little Shamrock," Miss Taylor; song, " Nil Desperandum," Mr Brien ; duet, •'The Wind and the Harp," MesdameH Doyle and Brien; song, "The Standard, Miss Taylor; song, "To-morrow, Miss Finch.
