Smith, £f>7 10s (accepted) ; Trainor, £94 15s. Maintenance of Road Hikutaia to Komata : Thomas Logan, £207 ; Punch, £125 ; J. M. Ritchie, £114 ; E. Bain, £87 10s (accepted). Maintenance from Komata to Paeroa : E. Bain, £52 10> (accepted) ; Trainor, £G6 10s ; Ritchie, £65 lfe ; Sheehy, £86; Quinn, £72 10s; Kelly, £53 ; Logan, £137 10s. These two sections comprised 3i miles of road each. Maintenance, Paeroa to Rotokohu : Ritchie, £49 ; O'Donnntfiue, £110 ; Parnell, £49 ; Barrett, £53 10s ; P. Byrne, £49 10s ; Gill, £61 125 ; E. Bain £45 (accepted). Maintenance, Rotukohu to Te Aroha : Ritchie, £49; O'Donnoghue, £150; Punch, £49; McCabe, £!s>; Bain, £45 (accepted); Barrett, £65. Messrs Pond and Whitaker passed to-day, through Paoroa on a visit to tho Silverton mine, Waibi, of which they are large shareholders.
