Our yards although tried _to their extent were incapable of all the Cattle being yarded at one time, and' pens c?ftftfr beijur told were emptied and* ruled afresh. The sale lasted until dark. Those not sold at auction weie disposed of privately next morning. Mr J. S. Buokland Reports:—On Monday at Cambridge. 2000 good 4 and fltooth wethers were otfered, and 1,500 good > fim*. The ewes were all sold at from 5s ' Ga for those in low condition to 6s 9d for th'jse in good condition, and 100 bulled ewes were placed at 2s 6d to 3s. Wether* f -dull of wile, 700 only being placed at 7s, 150 r «*7qGd, and 20 inferior at 6s 6d. Have ■till over 1000 good wethers for sale.—Oh .Thursday not many cattle were brought ''"forward, but those offered were of good quality, and met ready sale. Beet cows brought from £7 to £9 10s each., At the , Drury sale on Wednesday there wan the usual muster of cattle. Young stock were in brisk enquiry at full values, but grown steers were lower in price. • At ftemnerd on Thursday dairy cattle at their profit were required, and best Animals brought from £8 to £10 each. Store cnttle in full number; and although freely competed for were at lower values than , nitfie'rtb, particularly grown cattle. Fit cattle, yarded iv lens than usual number, were almost unsaleable, beat quality only sold:; prices for them only ranged from 12s for gooff cows to 17s for prime steer*, but as many remained uusold as were sold. Fat calves were in less than, usual number and p'^nftjutained their price. Sheep, in average number, were at last week's values. Lambs also maintained their price.
