Tjfapuna Jockey Club's Autumn Meeting. The tntumn raca meeting under the auspices of the Takapuna Jockey club took place on Saturday afternoon. Hit Excellency the Governor, accompanied by Major Jervoia and Captain Medley, wan preaent on the course before the first race, Subsequently His Excellency was entertained at lunch in the steward's room ; Colonel Lyon being also a guest of the club on the occasion. The following are the results of the races :— Silling Stekfleohase of 40sovs ; j Mr J. G. Brimblecombe's Julia Ann, lOstTlbs 1 Mr W.Tlussell's Rob Roy, 9st 71bs ... 2 Mr W. Kerrs Rowdy, 9st 71bs 3 R&nana, Isaac Walton, and Derby Also ran. There were £370 on the totalisttor, 160 on the winner ; dividend, £2 Is. Maiden Plate of 25sovs. Mr R. McKays Barney 1 Mr J. Walker's Highland Mary, 9it Ub 2 Mr J. Chad wick's Lochinvar, 9at ... 3 St. David, Manaia, Evening Star, Orwell, Octopus, Larrikin, and Tupaki also ran. There was £674 on the totalisator, of which only 23 was on the winner, and the tgM4 dmdend of £36 1% wu paid.
