DUNEDIN, Monday. It is feared that one of the Colonial Bank staff nnrned Cowering has got lost in the country between Lake Wakatipu and Luke Manapouri. He left on a walking tour on the 25th March, and has now been absent a week beyond his time. At the Supreme Court true bills were found in all casu3 for illegally pawning. Alfred Holey got three years, and Peter Silvestor, on a charge of indecently a»taultiug his daughter, 12 years. James Wilson pleaded guilty to larceny, and was sentenced to three months ; George Berry, stealing fiom the pet son, was sentenced to twelve months, and Benjamin Rndti, for shoot* ing with intent, was found not guilty. Only two cases now remain to be heard.
