A nnmeroui attendance at my sale of furniture on Wednesday, and rood prices realised throughout. Bugg\ none at £20 ; buggy mart, £9 ; and pair buggy mares made £47 10s ; chestnut mare, £12; colt, £8; hooded buggy, £31; American waggon, £56, and single harnew, £6 ; cows, £5 10« and £6. At Waihou on Thuwday, cattle worn in full numbers. 224 yarded, and 213 sold. Grown steer* from £3 15a to £4 lOu ; empty cows in forward condition. £2 5s to £3 ; cows nearly beef, £3 5s to £4 ISs ; yearling steors, £1 10s to £2 ]■ ; yearling heifers, £1 7s tiJ; and one lot of 80 year and half-old steera of good quality •old at £3 Is. Fat sheep sold at ISs. A few inferior hones sold at £3 10s to £4 15s, and one upstanding hack £13. Have for private sale, 2500 good crossbred w«thera, 1000 crossbred ewes, and 100 head of well-bred young steen.
LONDON HAKKRS. London, April 2.— The total quantity of - wfaat afloat for the United Kingdom is 1,660,000 quarters, 49,000 lent than tat ir«ek. — The tallow market is unchanged. Tbt stock at present held in London amounts to 24,000 casks.— At to-day's wool "sal**, 11,300 bales were offered, the market , remaining quiet. The next sales commence on the 16tn June. The quantity to be offered is limited to 350,000 bale*.— There 'b no change to report in frozen meat, Prime New Zealand mutton is still being quoted Iran s£d to ssd. 'London, Ap'riT 3.— There is no improvement in the wool market. 10,000 bales w«re catalogued to-day, the' demand Ming • doll .and heavy. Up to the present 260,000 b*4«s have arrived.— A Press Association , message says :— The wheat market is unZ changed.
