Wellington, Monday. Tha Supreme Court criminal session! opened to-day. The judge's charge contained nothing of special interest. The jury found true bill* in all cases except those agaiast Frank McDowell, embezzlement; Ah Hong, assault ; and Richard Heyton, attempted suicide. Sam Bennett, larceny from a dwelling, was sentenced to three years ; Cornelius Tall, larceny, was acquitted ; J. H. Killian, larceny from the oerson, was sentenced to 12 months ; W. Donnelly, larceny from the person, was acquitted ; Andrew Black, larceny from a dwelling, was sentenced to two yean ; -W. Groombrtdge, embezzlement, was sentenced to one year.
