MASON IC PRESENTATION AT CAMBRIDGE.
A vkry pleasing ceremony took place in the lodge room of the Masonic Lodge Alpha 2014, E. 0., on Thursday evening, when Bro. 0. Brunskill, P.M., was presented with an address and jewel from S. John's Lodge, at Featherston, of which he was formerly secretary and W.M. The address bore testimony to the loss they had sustained on his departure from that district, und the high esteem in which he was held by his fellow craftsmen, and was presented by Bro. Sargent, W.M., in suitable terms. Bro. Brunskill, in acknowledging the compliment paid to him, expressed his regret at having left Featherston, and congratulated Lodgd Alpha on having so efficient a W.M. in Bro, Sarerent. Although be would be unable to attend the lodge regularly, he would be always glad to (rive it his best assistance.- Several visitors were present from Hamilton and Te Awamutu, including P.M. Bros. Murray, Gaudin and Roche. Atter the Lodge closed the v brethren adjourned to Kirkwoods Hotel, where they partook of a capital supper provided by Bro. Sargent, and a very pleasant evening was passed.
