THE ROMAN CATHOLIC MISSION AT HAMILTON.
Tki mission services at S. Mary's Church, wurt concluded on Sunday Ou Saturday night the Rev. Father O'Neill preached on the subject of ",Our Blessed Lady." On Sunday morning, at the 11 o'clock service, the Rev. Father Hegnrty preached on "The Mission Cross." In the evening Father O'Neill delivered a discourse on "Perseverance," uiyintf his heardra to take to heart the learnm* they had learnt during the Mfcion, and to persevere 'in well-doing.
It wu the original intention of the. Fathers to conduct a week's mission at Cambridge, but they have received a summons by cable from their superior! at Sydney to return at once. Father Hegarty conducted evening service at Cambridge on Sunday, and took occasion to express regret at their inability to be there during the week. The Fathers left Hamilton for Auckland; by yesterday morning's train.
