A BRITISH GARRISON IN DANGER. Rangoon, March 8.
ivm.MUKVCK lias been received by Urncial Pienderg.ist at M.mdalay, tli.it a force of some 9000 rebels has surrounded the British position at Yonietten, the garrison of which place numbers only 300 men. Gener.il Prendergast, on receipt of the news, called up the reinforcements, and is now advancing to the relief of the beleagured British troops.
