Rulks kok Conduct of Show. 1. The exhibits to be arranged by a sub-committee of three, elected by the general committee. 2. All exhibits are to be labelled with a sealed envelope, the number of the exhibit outside, aud the exhibitor's name iuside. 3. No one to act as judge in any class in which he may be an exhibitor. 4. Any protest must be made in writing as soon as the awards are made known, otherwise the decision of the judges shall be final. 3. Prizes to be given in proportion to the income of the Society, and the schedule to be published at least six weeks before the time appointed for the show. 6. Non-subscribers may exhibit in any class on payment of 2s 6d, and be entitled to free admission. 7. All exhibits not claimed by the owners at the close of the show will be sold by auction, and the proceeds devoted to the funds of the Association. 8. No exhibitor to be present while while the awards are being made. 5). No exhibit to be removed until the close of the show. 10. The committee to receive and stage any exhibits forwarded to them (carriage paid) by exhibitors who cannot attend personally. 11. No exhibitor to compete for more than one prize iv each class, with the same variety, and nothing to be shown unless it has beeu the uona fide property of the exhibitor for two mouths before the show. Any exhibitor violating this rule to be disqualified. 12. That the judges be empowered to withold prizes from any class which may be considered aa unworthj of reward. 13. That competitors be required to have the name of each specimen, as far as known, plainly written aud attached to the same. 14. That the place of exhibition be open the clay previous to the show from 12 noon to 0 p.m., and on the following day to 9 a.m., for the reception ot exhibits, after which uo exhibit will be admitted, and the place to be closed by ten o'clock. The show to be open to the public at one o'clock. 15. The definition of the classes shall be as follows : Class 1, All Comers ; Class 2, Amateurs ; Class 3, Cottagers, Artisans, aud Day Labourers, In Cla-s 2, an Amateur shall be considered as one who only employs occasional assistance. Class .> shall be considered those who cultivate their exhibits personally. IG. Exhibitors to give notice to the secretary of the Show Committee three day> (Saturday, 13th March) before the daj of sho'v of the classes aud numbers they propose to compete in.
