Meetings of Creditor?. Auckland, Wedne.sd.iy Night. A meeting of the creditor* of T. T. Anderson resolved to take step-, to have the conveyance of the Northcote property s>et aside unless Mr Mowbr.iy, the holder, paid £(>.")0 into the estate to complete the purchase. Ucodson and Fountain* creditors have resolved to diipoae of the stock by tender, and to give Fountain a clear quittance on paying £200 into the estate.

The Licensing Elections. The Licensed Victuallers Association have not been slow to biing forward their ticket. The meeting decided that the system of separate boards foi the \umm~ districts was not a good one, and it was re solved to select live representative men, and put them up for all the diitiicts. The idea is not to have a licensed victuallers committee, but rather a model ato committee. Therefore it was decided to adhere tv the present system of Sunday closing and ten o'clock licenses as that appears to be the wish of the public at large. By a system of one committee for the whole of the districts, it is hoped to have the t-ame hour of closing for all. To-day a petition was taken round to obtain signatures from the moderate party requesting the following gentlemen to allow themselves to be nominated for the moderate ticket: — P. Comiskey, J. Harper, Graves Aickin, G. Winks, (Mayor of Parnell), and Capt. Anderson. It is generally understood that these gentlemen will permit themselves to be nominated.
