A Press Association message says : — It is believed that in the new Ministry Sir William Vernon Harcourt will be Chancellor of the Exchequer, and the Hon. Mr Chamberlain Secretary for Ireland. The Right Hon. Hugh Childers has been elected by a large majority to represent one of the divisions of Edinburgh in the House of Commons.
