ARRIVAL OF THE KAIKOURA.
\VT TELEGBAPH.— FHESS ASSOCIATION.] Port Chalmkks Sunday. TheR.M. s.B. Kaikoura, Cap. Crutchiey, arrived at 5.10 p.m. on Saturday, after a passage of 39 days G hours steaming from Plymouth. All the passengers (328) are in the best of health. She brings a full cargo consisting of 9000 packages for Wellington, 4532 for Dunedin, GOO for Lyttelton, and the rest for different coastal ports. She stranded on the bunk between the two lower black buoys in the lower harbour when coining in at ebb tide at 4.-15 p.m. She sustained no damage, as tho ground is soft mud and sand. She camo off at 9.30 p.m. The following is the passenger list:. —The Earl and Couutess Dalhousie, General Sir Patrick ond Lady McDougnll, Count Rosen, Mesdames Hogland, R. Keals, Miss Holroyal, Messrs. Hogland, Bennett, Bulteal, East (2), Enter, and Rob'm. Second Bn\f>on : Mi?ses CJarke, Betron, Mrs CJark, Emily, Messrs CJarke, Hume, Strong, Willows. Wright, and three steerage.
