LUNG WORM IN SHEEP.
ANOTHKK remedy has come forward for this distiessing malady. The recipe given below has been published by the South Australian Government. It was kindly handed to us by Mr Oldham, sheep inspector of this district, who received it from a friend a few days ago:— Nitre, 12oz. ; sulphur, 500z. ; water, 1000/.. Dissolve tho nitie in tho w.iter, then add the sulphur. Tho mixture must bo kept constantly stured while administering it, as sulphur is not soluble in water. Tho dose in one ounce. Tho best thing for dosing sheop is a small bullock's horn. Doso four times at ten days mtorvaK Supply tho sheep with a mixture of Halt with 10 per cent of sulphate of iron for them to lick.
