WAIPA COUNTY COUNCIL

It was repoited that Mr Hunter was now willing to have the road in front of Ins gate lowered some two feet.— lt was agieed to complete this work as onghmlly intended, the council expressing the opinion that no privato persons should be allowed to interfere with contiactoiH or works in course of being carried out. Tho council however were willing to return an equ.il quantity of gravel when required. It wan agreed to obtain permission of tho Pukeknra Koad Board to take gravel, tho council to fence in the pits used.
