All Horse Races to be run in eolouis (a scaif, hand oi cap being stifhuent), which must be deelaied at tune of entiy. In the Athletic Spor f s the usual rules will be strictly adhered to, and three competitors to start or no race. All entiies for the foot races to be accompinied by the entrance money, and .sent in to the Secrotiry on or befoie 5 p.m. on the 21st December next. Handicaps will be declared on the ground. Hoise Races Nos 2 and 4, and Foot Races Nos 1 and 5, aie confined to snbscnbeis living within the Matannta Roid Hoaid Di&tnct, or woikinu; en the T.V. and Rotorua Railway. Horses enteied toi the Distuct Rices must have been in the diatiict and owned by or in charge of the persons entering them, for at least three months immediately puor to the date for closing the entries. Nominations foi the fiist six Hor^e Races will bu received by the handicapper, Mr R. Knkwood, Knkwood's Hotel, Cambudge, until S pm on Satuiday, 12th December Weights \\ ill be published in The Waikato Times on 15th oi 17th Deccmhei. Acceptances and general entiies to be in the hand* of the Secretary by 5 p m. on the 21st December. Entianee fie to be foi warded with nomination, together with colours, age, and peiformances of hoiscs. Thiee Horses to stai t in each race or no race. No entry will be received for any of the racts except upon the fuither conditions : " That all disputes, claims and objections arising out of the lacing shall be decided by a inajouty of the committee present, oi those whom they may appoint, and their decision shall be final "' All protests must be made in wilting within twenty minutes fioin the tonclu sion of the race (disputed), and mu«t he accon piniul by a deposit of £1, which will be forfeited to the laung funds should the committee consider the piotest fnvolous or vexatious.
