RULES.
1. The Races are open for all horses, excepting Minors' Handicap. 2. All horses to be ridden in colours, under a penalty of 10a. 3. The Auckland Jockey Club rules will be strictly adhered to. 4. All disputes shall be decided by the Stewards, whose decision shall be final, aud entries will only be taken on this condition. 5. Three horses to start for each race, or no public money will br given. 6. AH protests to be lodged in writing with the Secretary, enclosing lsov. within twenty minutes of the conclusion of the race. Money to be forfeited if protest is disallowed. 7. Persons running horses must be subscribers of not less than 10s to tho fund. 8. Nominations to be sent to Treasurer not later than 6' p.m. on Saturday, 19th inst , enclosing fee. General entries not later than G p in. ou 24th December, 1885. 9. N.B. — All nominations must be accompanied by correct statement of performances for last twelve months, and colours. Entries for all Handicaps must be sent to the Secretary, accompanied by the entrance fees, by 8 pm. on Thursday, 17th December. No entrance accepted unless accompanied by the fee. No entries will be received except on the condition that all claims, disputes and objections shall be decided by the committee, such decision to be final.
