RULES AND CONDITIONS.

All Horse Races to be run in colours (a scarf, band or cap bring sufficient), which must be declared at time of entry. In the Athletic Sports the usual rules will he strictly adhered to, and three competitors to start or no race. All entries for the foot, races to be accompanied by the entrance money, and sent in to the Secretary on or before 5 p.m. on the 2lst December next. Handicaps will be declared on the ground. Horse Races Nos. 2 and 4, and Foot Races Nos. 1 and .">, are confined to subscribers living within the Matamata Road Board District, or workmg en the T.V. and Rotorua Railway. Horses entered loi the District Races must have becu in the district and owned by or in charge of the persons entering them, for at least three months immediately prior to the date for closing the entries. Nominations for the tint six Horse Races will bo received by the handicapper, Mr R. Kirkwood, KirUwood's Hotel, Cambridge, until 8 p.m. on Saturday, 12th December. Weight! will be published in The Waikato Times on 15th or 17th December. Acceptances and general entries to bo in the hands of the Secretary by 5 p.m. on the 21st December. Entrance fee to be forwarded with nomination, together with colours, age, and performances of horses. Three Horses to start in each race or no race. No entry will be. received for any of the races except upon tho further conditions : " That all disputes, claims and objections arising out of the racing shall be decided by a majority of the committee present, or those whom they may appoint, and their decision shall be final." All protests must be made in writing within twenty minutes from the conclusion of the race (disputed), and must be accompanied by a deposit of £1, wrhich will he forfeited to the racing funds should the committee consider the protest ftivolous or vexatious. Prizes will be added to in proportion to the increase of funds. Refreshments provided by Mr Frank Rose, of Oxford. All races will be run under the Auckland Racing Club rules. S.
