For horses the bou'ifuh property of settlers in Waipa, Waikato and Piako Counties for three months prior to d.ite of this race meeting. Nomination, 10s ; acceptance, l&ov. To start at 3.30 p.m. KIHIKIHI PLATE (HANDICAP) of 20sovs. Distance, \\ miles. Weights to be declared immediately after the Waikato Stakes is run, acceptances 15 minutes before the race starts. Nomination, lsov.; acceptance, lsov. To start at 4.30 p.m. CONSOLATION HANDICAP of lOsovs. For all beaten horses during the meeting. Distance, once round the course. Entrance, lsov., to be made not later than 13 minutes after the Kihikihi Plate is run. Acceptances to be notified to the Clerk of the Scales not later than 15 minutes after the declaration of the weights. To start at 5. 15 p.m.

Rules and Regulations. Nominations for Hurdlea, Cup, Waikato Stakes and Kihikihi Plate, close at 9 p.m. on Saturday, Uth January. Name, age, colour and pedigree of horses, and colours of rider to be sent to the secretary, Te Awamntu, oi Mr A. Kidd, Commercial Hotel, Auckland, on that date. Anj jockey disobeying the commands of the starter or ridiug in colours except those entered will be lined 2aovs. Tun per cent of all races except Cup, Selling Hack, Maori and Consolation to go to the second horse. All protests nm&t be in writing, and accompanied with 2sovs , to be forfeited if the protest be deemed frivolous. Protests to be lodged « itii the Sceretarj not later than iifteen minutes after the race. No entry will be received for any race except upon the condition that all claims, disputes, or objections shall be decided by a majority of the Stewirds present, or whom they may appoint, and their decision shall be final. Qualification for all races except Maori Race aud Selling Hack, one guinea. Horsei walking over will receive only 50 per cent of the stakes. Weights to be declared in the N.Z. Herald and The Waikato Times on Thursday, 14th January. Acceptances close at 9. p.m. on night of geneial entry, Tuesday, Iflth January. All nominations and acceptances must be accompanied with the necessary amount in cash. Owners are particularly requested to sent! the colours of riders with the entiies. Owners are warned that if they do not bring their horses to the post at the proper time they are liable to be excluded from the race. R. W. ROCHE, Hon. Sec.
