For the City of London clectoiato (one member) the Ki^lit Hon. J. CJ. Hublwrd and Aldeiman Fuwloi each polled the same number of \otes. Tiie Consei vativa candidates h.ive been generally successful in tho London and bubmbon electorates. In the provinces Liberals have been elected for York, Salisbury, Boston, n»d Edinbuitrh, while the Conservatives ha\e been Miccoisful at Bolton, Winchester, Norwich, Nunoaton, and Hull. Leod^, out of five seats, returns three Conseiv.ithes while for Sheffield the following five meinbeis h.v\e been elected:— Messrs C'oleiidge, Mundella, Howaid Vincent, Ashme.wi B.utlett, and Stuait Woitley. Mi Gladstone has boon re-elected for Midlothian, and Sir Lyon Tlayfau 1 for Edmb.usjh and St. AndiewV University. Messrs John Henniker Heaton nnd How aid Vincent ha\e been elected, while the Hon. Lyuuh Stuiley and Mr Kynas tou Crosb li.i\ o boon defeated.
