The Bulgarian forces under Prince Alexander fought a battle on Sunday, and succeedod in expelling the Servians from the heights in the vicinity of the Dragomauo Pass. The Bulgarians now occupy the whole of the enemy's positions in that neighbourhood. Constantinople, November 23. The Porte has forwarded a circular note to the Great Powers, intimating that if they do not intervene in order to restore peace in Bulgaria the Turkish troops will attack the invaders. The Sultan has issued orders commanding the Turkish forces to assemble forthwith upon the frontier, and has forwarded a despatch to King Milan summoning him to evacuate Bulgaria. Sofia, November 23. Intelligence has just been received in this place to the eilbct that the Servian forces are actively engaged in tli*> bombardment of Widden. and that a large portion of the town is in names. Const vntivoplk, November 21. The statement that the Porte has summoned King Milan to evacuate Bulgarian territory is believed to l>p untrue. The Sultan, however, has proposed to Prince, Alexander that he suggest an armistice between his forces and those of King Mil. in. Prince Alexander in his reply deprecated the idea of an armistice until his troops had entered Servia. It is announced that the Porto has requested (Greece to explain the cause of the recent increase of her armaments.
