Wan lias Won formally declared by Servia against l)ulg.\ria, and the Servi.m troops have crossed the Isaiibrod and niv now advancing upon Soiia, tho Bulgarian capital, under the command of King Milan, who has issued a proclamation assigning as hi.s grounds for the invasion thr violation by Prince Alexander of the Treaty of Berlin, and consequent provocation. .Sofia, November 14. Prince Alexander in an order of the day, issued to the Bulgarian army, denounces the Servian invasion as cowardly and treacherous, and calls upon all Bulgarian subjects to defend their homes, and annihilate the invaders. Later intelligence states that some sharp skirmishes have occurred between the Bulgarian and Servian troops, several men being killed, and a good number wounded. The Bulgarians had rather the worst of it, and are reported to be retiring. A Press Association message says : — Three divisions of the Servian army are advancing on Sofia, the capital of Bulgaria, under the command of King Milan. The King has commenced an unprovoked attack against the Bulgarians, which, it is alleged, will be accepted as a casus belli.
