The Waikato Times AND THAMES VALLEY GAZETTE.

Equal and exact justice to all men, Ol whatsoever state or persuasion, religious or political, Here shall the Press tlie People's right maintain, Unawed by influence and unbribcd by gain.

SATURDAY, NOV. l/ h 1885.

The cheese from the Te A\ramutu Cheese factory, which was cxi hibited at the Auckland Show was thought very highly of by everyone. All agreed that it reflected the highest credit on the manager, and the whole management. Mr Dibble, an old and experienced cheesemaker, was loud in his praise and though lie was showing against i(. he nevertheless gave honour where it was due and, so far from expressing any feeling of jealousy, was highly pleased at the fact of such a magnificent article being turned out by one of our factories. The unqualified success which has attended the exhibits on this occasion will be an incentive to the manager to keep up the high reputation for which his cheeso has always been celebrated. Jt will al'o infuse hope and energy into the other factoiies for, if one factory can turn out a splendid sample, another av ill try and do likewise until our Waikato cheese will have a name in our own and foreign markets that will always ensure a ready sale at a high figure. The honours gained by the Te Awamutu cheese were first and champion prizes for one ton most suitable for export It also took first prize in the

class of old cheese, and somp which was only three weeks old took second prize for new cheese. Wo wish the Te Awamutu Factory an equal success on the next occasion it exhibits, for success and a good n,uno for one factory mean similar honours for other Waikato factories also.
