WAIKATO ROWING CLUB.
The annual meeting of the Waikato Rowing Club was held at O Wynne's Hotel, Hamilton, last night, Mi Veieker-Bindon in the chair. The accounts weic passed, show ing a debit balance of some two pounds. It w.is resolved to wind up the old club, .is many of the members had left the disti ict, and to form a new club, which should take up the assets and liabih ties of the old one. The subset lption was i educed to ton shillings pei annum, and Messis Jcssop. Cartel, and liindon wcio elected a provisional committee, with Mi W.tllnutt lion. sec. and tioasmei, to camass for subscriptions and air.vngo foi the staiLmg of tho club. Two new nipmbci.s weie olectpd in addition to the members »f the old club pre-ent, wlio all agreed to join the new one. With its liver and lake a small amount of energy is .ill that is lequhed to start a rowing club in If.vnn'ton.
