The trial of Joseph Symes, the well-known Freethouglit lecturer, on a technical charge arising out of taking money for admission to his Sunday lectures, took place on Saturday, when, after considerable consultation, the jury were unable to agree upon a verdict, and "were consequently discharged. The defendant was again admitted to bail.
