Dillon Bell was requested to write the article, but had to decline owing to pressure of work connected with hi« position an Agent-General. It is alleged by the Exhibition authoritiefc that a number of members of the Legislature who were accorded free passes to the Exhibition while here, not content with passing m all their friendu on these ticket", legard them as transferable property, and have handed them over to fiiends upon leaving Wellington.
