THE FAUST FAMILY.
The members of this talented family per formed bofoie delighted audiences .it the Public Hall, Hamilton, on Saturday and last night. It is not too much to say th.it the entertainment is the best of its kind we have em seen in Waikato, and none who dosiie to pas* a ically pleasant evening should nii*s the oppoitunity now presented them. The comic hou/ont.il bar business by the Bios. Ted and Robert, and tho musical and aciobatio scene by thobame perfoimois, in conjunction with Maitet Eugene, were simply perfection. Tho thice biotherh play the beautiful " Mandohnata " on violins, tho while they go thiough tho most fantastic tiickn, turning soinerhaulti, playing on one another's instruments and so foith, the tune pioceeding with the greatest smoothness. Tho \ mini plivying of Mantel' Kugono was remaikably good. Heir Yon de Mehden contiibutnd a charming solo on tho cornet "Old Folkß at Home " with variations, and Mr C. Wand played a most acceptable solo on the 'cello " Hoin.o Sweet Home. 1 ' The fiist part of the enteitaintiient concluded with "The (hand (jopreaontatjot) of Ancient and Modem Statuaiy." This porfoimuuoo Is a. most unique. Some of the best known groups of sculptuu 1 weie simulated in tho most pei feet manner, and cilled forth loud applaiihc. The second part comprised soiho I'emaikable af.robaijr feats by tl f I'antt family; Hen Yon der Mulidon's exquisite poifoimancc on the musical glasses and the " /ypohono " ; selections on the hand bells by the Bios. Ted, Kobert and Kugene, (in si manner which n Milled tho famous Lynch family) and tho marvel
lous Kisley performance of Ted, Eugene, and Victor, intioducm<e (tingle, double and triple i-omersaults. The whole concluded with the musical pantomimic sketch "The Terrible li.f.uits," in which the mothers played some beautiful selections on common wood. The entertainment is worthy of praise, and it is much to b'j regretted tli.it artistes of a like calibre do not more fiequently visit the distnet. The Faunt Family appear at C.unbiidgo to night and to morrow night, and should be (jreete 1 with crowded house-.
