Tin, preliminary examination of Mr Stead, the editor of the P.ill Mall (ia/.otte, and the other persons who are being prosecuted by the Treasury in connection with the recent articles which appeared in that journal, was brought to a close to-day, when the case for the plaintiff concluded. The accused were committed for trial, their defence being reser\ cd.
