He is expected to return in a week or ten days, when Mr Ballanco will take a short holiday. Mr Larnach, who has been ill for boine time, is slowly re covering. Ten thousand young trout fry arrived by the Wairarapa from the South, to-day. They are the fir-t instalment of 20,000 presented by the Canterbury Acclimatisation Society to the Wellington and Wairarapa societies. The fish arrived in a healthy state, and will be liberated in the Hutt Ri\er.
