Tiik concert in aid of tlio building fund of S. Stephen's Church took place .it the Tamahere School last night. Theie was a \ery latge attendance, <md tin 1 chair was most efficiently filled by the Yon. Archdeacon Willi-.. The piogr.uiiine wubmitted was in many aspects .in excellent one, but, as is imfoitimitdy too coiiiiin>nly the case .it country concerts, it was much too long The audience, however, were most enthu si.istic, and every item was loudly applauded, .md in many cases encores had to bo losponded to.
