In doing «o he paid Mr Sibley a giaceful compliment on lih efficiency as bandmaster and also on his willingness to render assistance on tlio occasion of »ny charitable benefit, school picinic or •-iiiiil.ir amusements. He. regretted the band was not as .stiongas on the decisions when they used to gi\e those delightful open air practice which wero so attractive, and so much appreciated by the public, but I c hoped the tune was not far distant when the band would be once nioie up to its formei stieugth.
