Wm\t do I possess? Little thit ia miue ; Yet that little is n seed Bearing fruit dtvinr. P.ichcß may take wings, Aye, and ily awnj ; EirthJj fume in but a light Borrowed for 11 day. Love, ray harvest, is Given me to keep ; Love that outlives earthly gain, That I diuly ierp. Lova to lighten care, Love to soften woe, Lo/e to scatter hcio and there In men's paths below. " What do I poßGes3 ?" Blindly journeying hf re, I ba?e truu and loving fr ends, Wife and children dor.r. " But they may depart," Sivy you, oh, my friend ; II Go the way of fell thn earlh, And your comfort end." Should they pro before, They are mill my own ; Thouph long time my riches may To the winds hare fiown. Theco my jewel* bright — Theso my treasures larel For the love that joined ua here Cannot part in there. What do I possess ? Little, yet so much ; Earthly labor dandified By an angel's touch. Harvests great and grand, Meant my soul to ble?s, Love's overflowing plenitude, That do I possess.
