INVKRCARUILT,, Thursday. At the Supreme Court to day Mary Tucker, arrested at Wellington, wa9 acquitted of a charge of stealing £123 and sundry articles of clothing belonging to her husband. The case was noteworthy as \w\ag the fii.it of the kind under the Mairicd Women's Property Act, winch makes provision for the wife being charged with the larceny of her husband's property, and enables him to give evidence against her.
