The question of the sentences recently passed upon the members of the Victorian Permanent Artillery Force came under discussion in the Legislative Assembly last night. A lengthy debate of a somewhat desultory character took place, but the House declined to interfere with the action of the military authorities. No arrangement has been come to between the omnibus drivers and the company, and the prospect of an amicable settlement appears very remote.
