Philip moved, in ,-iccoifiance with notice, "Th.it the balance of Lot 411, Hamilton East, bo fenced, and the lease offeicd for sale !>y public auction."— Tho motion was seconded by Or. Ktti.ultna.il, and carried — It was also rcHolved that the term of lease be hve yeais, and the upset pi ice K3 per annum, tho leuse to contain a clause empoweriufr the council to re-enter at any time on paying compensation. Tiumc BniiM.r.— lt w.is reHolved to .apply to the Government for the hoi'uoph of tho Resident Kngmeor to inspect tho traffic bridgo over tho Waikato. Lot 407, Hamilton' Fast. —Mr Frear informed tho council that this allotment was not suitable for tho purpose* for which it w&t obtained, and he wished to give it up. — It was resolved to re-enter.
