THE PAKURANGA HOUNDS AT CAMBRIDGE.
TllK hounds met at thei.icecouiso on Situr day morning. Theie were o\er 100 people, including l.idies, at the meet, winch in point of numbers wm about the most successful o\er held in W.uk.ito. A number of ladies and gentlemen al»o dio\e to the meet and followed the hounds lound the country by the nud. The weather was all that could be de-hod. A haie was soon started in Foi rest's, and killed after a, short but exciting run. The properties of Messrs Beer, Booth, Clemont- and Tayloi were hunted . thiough, and ne\er,il inns were m.ide. Owing to the number of whe fences them was comparatively little jumping and very few spills. The usual collection w.is made and £7 was rcnli.scd.
