They were also chained with the larceny of one horse of the a alue of £3, the property of Chaile-i Ogle. I'iisonois pleaded guilty to both charge's. Kdw.ud Howell was then charged with the laicen\ of one lady s Middle, tho property of \V. A. Cowan. Accused pleaded guilty, and desired to be dealt with summarily. The bench commented vciy strongly on the case, and said it was discredit.ilbo to the prisoner's patents to allow them to be guilty of such offence*. The court re pretted the prisoners were o\cr tho ago to be sent to the training school, as that was the best place for boys, like the accused. It was not advisable to send boys so young to gaol, and, as this wab the fh-»t offence, they \\ ould impose a hue of £ I in the case of Howell ; in default, one months' in - piisonment. Kennedy was fined £2 10s ; in default, one months' imprisonment.
