A M \ l'fii was played on ft.itmd.iy between the Junior football clubs of the Hamilton Kast a\'(\ Went schools, and was won hy the \').\>t .sulf by a try (2 points) to nil. The teams were at follows ; Kiist side, Beale (2) Oir (2), A. Le 'iucsne, Nelson, Reid, Vincent, Kelly, Johnson, l\i-ci>e, Stead man : West side, (iaudm (2), Hill, Omck (2), Wilson (2), J3. Hume, Black, Aid Jovern, KM lot, Hyde. The frame was cccecdinerly well contested, the little mm standing- up well to one another in the nciuiib, while the collaring was excollrnt. NpNi iu's running was much admired, as was his collaring ; Bertie Hume alv> shone in the latter depaitment <md made nc\eral good i utiH but was too well Hhophrrdcd to tret away. Among the other* A. Ijnalo and A. Le OucHne wore very conijncioiiH on the East sidf! and M. Orr and Kelly wer« all there ; M. Orr in particular went for the other uidc big and little with equal indifference. Two Gaudinn, enpecially Walter, were all there and Hill did excellent work for his side. The gamo was played in »n excellent spirit and with a most gratifying absence of wrangling. Nelson obtained the only try. Messrs Hoiking and Yon.Stunner wero most eihcient umpires-
