Store cattle, particularly «teer^, were in better enquiry, and advanced in price. Fat cattle m average numbers, mid generally of prune quality, puces rallied, and wero steady throughout the Hale, prune quality, Auckland fatted, at tlh ; hlupborne, from 20s tlio 1001b*. Store sheep in demand at full value.-*. Fat wethers of pi line quality maintained thi-ir full value, a draft of 400 from Napiei, averaging 801hs., brought 18s each, but middling quality of sheep were at lower prices and fully 400 remained unsold.
