Tovato Solp. — One quart canned tomatoes, one small onion (chopped), a sprig of parsley, butter size of walnut, two heaping tablespoonfuls of flour, one of sugar, teaspoooful of salt, ono pint of soup stock or boiling water, whichever is most convenient ; boil woll. Sauce llomandaibk, on Dutcii Sauci.— Pour four tablespoonf uls of good vinegar into a small stew-pan, add a little popper feud salt ; let it boil to half quantity and cool ; add well -beaten yolks of four eggs, butter the size of an ogg and a little nutmeg. Set over a slow fire ; etir until as thick as or#am and remove it immediately ; set into another pan containing hot water at tho side of the range Beat briskly with a spoon or whisk to make it frothy, adding little bits of butter all together about the eize of half an tgg. When light and smooth it is ready to servo.
