Mixiioi h\k, June S. The rumours which were current yesterday, to the rW'oit that se\eral arrests had been made in connection with the Simpson's-road bank robbery, have proved to be correct. It is announced to day tli.it the police have arrested si\ men and three women in places on suspicion of being concerned in the .ill'.iir. The curt in winch the robbers dro\e off lias also been found and identified by those who saw it at the time of the robbery. When the prisoners vere searched at the police station £100 in notes of the Xation.il Bank of Australia were found upon them, together with a large sum in gold.
June 9. The examination of the prisoners in custody for the Simpson-road bank robbery was concluded yesterday, when the whole number Mere remanded, bail being refused. The police have been taking active steps to pre\ent the disposal of the plunder by any confederates.
