Mt Somcrulle said he had reason to believe that when Mr Dunn applied for leave to go home to sec his aged mother he had matured his plans for a lectutmg tour round the colony. He had h.ul a number of tickets printed here, "The yie.it Lecture by the Rev. J. W. Dunn." He said that Mi Dunn had been guilty of misrepresentation and should be called to the bar of the Piesbyteiy. It was resolved to cite Mr Dunn to appear at the meeting of the Presbytery on the first Wednesday of July. The Rev Mr Boyd, of Epsom, was appointed to preach at Hamilton for two Sundays. The Piesbytery approved of the action of the clerk in recommending to the Church Extension Committee the icniov al of Mrliaeburn from Hamilton to W.iiroa (Hawke's Bay).

City Licenses and the Committees. The City East Licensing Committee announced its intention of refusing a license to the Auckland Hotel and Queen's Head lessees. Ultimately the eases were adjourned for the jnoduetion of evidence.
