A correspondent of the Scientific Ameut'in says .—". — " I always keep beer on draught, and and find it never goes sour if it ia hermetically sealed by having oil poured on tho top. This
should be poured into the barrel when tapped. From Match to October, when thunclerstortnd aro frequent, the beer will not keep a week without Ibe oil. Hotel-keepers who have to keep a cask of beer on tap a con giderablo time should try this.
