Loose fodder dehveied to the buyer ranged fiom 2s 3d to 4s (id ; straw, at 2s "the cut ; bran, £4 7n Od , chaff, 413 to ±14 2s od the ton ; maize, 4s ; feed wheat, 2s to 2s 9d ; beans, 3s 7d ; barley, 2* 3d ; oats, Is lOd to 2s 3d the bushel wore the priced obtained. Good horse stock weie in le«s number than required. Draught ranged from £15 to £2S ; pomes and riding hoi ses, from lot, to £10 At the hide and skin sale on Tuesday, hides weie in full number and good demand ; best quality ranged from 3Jjd to 4^d the lb. Tallow, 25s the cwt. The puce» obtained for sheepskins are low for the season of the year, and ranged from 7d to Is od each. Small parcels of wool brought from 3jd to 6?d the lb. Store cattle were y tided in limited number, yet pi ices remain low. At Papakura mi Wednesday, the sale was confined to dairy stock near calving, and this des< ription of stock being m demand, good prices were realised. At Komuera, on Thursday, dairy cows, fiesh calved or at calving, were in request at extreme price-*, but cows a short time to inn were comparatively dull of sale; -tore cattle in larger number than of late, but at low values. The arrivals of stock from the West Coa-tt were larger this week than for xoveral months, consequently tho Mipply both of fat cattle and sheep w as largely in excess of the usual numbers. Puces foi fat cattle were in the earlier pait of the sale fairly sustained, but fel towaids the finish. Auckland fatted steers were about 22-., ands>hip-borne from 18s to 20s per lOOlbs ; sheep were uniformly lower than l.wt week, from Is to 3s each, and two shipments remain unsold: 70H> sheep, mixed sexes, sold for 13s (id each, and ewes only were at lower value" ; pigs were also in full numbers, about 200 sold ; well-fatted pigs, medium weights, were in request, and sold satisfactorily, but growing pigs were lower in price than of late. Huntek and Nolans Wekkly Repokt. — Hnrses: There was increased activity in the market, as compared with the pievious week, but barely an average amount of business was done at a slightly met eased value, at tho Durham Yard*. A larger number than on the previous week were entered for disposal, and with few exceptions found pui chasers. We quote hacks at fiom £\> to £14; cab and light harness horses, £10 to £22 10a ; heavy draught, £27 10s. Wool, hides, and skins in moderate supply and steady demand. Hides, from 2\d to JMd per lb ; skins, Is Id to 2s 3d each ; wool, 4d to G\<\ ; tallow, 19s 0d per cwt. Cattle: Baiely an average number have been disposed of at about pieviuus week's values. The Newmarket Yaids, on Tuesday, were fairly filled with beef and dairy stock, and but few stoics. There was no noteworthy alteration in wine of local btock. The shipborne boie evidence of bad weather, and, with the exception of a few Jots, scarcely maintained the previous week's quotations nt per lOOlbs. Sheep : An adequate number were yarded on Tuesday at >.evvmarket. Competition was steady throughout. A few lots scaiccly cold relatively ho high as on the piovious week, but for well-conditioned hheep there was no decline in value. Pigs : An average numbei was yaided on Tuesday at New market.
