FRANCE AND EGYPT. [REUTERS TELEGRAMS.] THE BOSPHORE EGYPTIEN TROUBLE.
London', April 2G. Three French transports, with 4000 men, have been sent to Suez.
Paris, April 24. It is expected that an amicable .settlement of the Bosphore Egyptien inoifleiit will he arrived at by the French and Egyptian Governments.
Cairo, April 26. A report was prevalent to-day, to the effect that diplomatic relations had been broken oft* between France and Egypt, but the announcement was premature. M. C.imille Baron, the French Minister at this Court, was actually instructed, however, by his Government to leave yesterday, failing satisfaction being afforded for the suppression of the Bosphore Egyptien. His departure, however, has been postponed owing to negotiations for a. compromise having been initiated, and it is now hoped affairs are progressing in the direction of a. peaceful solution of the difficulty.
