The Sham Fight. Auckland, Monday Nujht. Tiihie was a laige muster of volunteers to repel a siippo&ed atticlc of the Russians trom the neighbourhood of Cheltenham bench North Shore, and the sham fight was succssafully executed.

Webber succeeded in shipping a crew of non-Union seaman ami cnginceis, so that in all piolnbility no difficulty will be experienced with the Auckland branch of the Seamen's Union. Hanlan the ex champion oarsman of the wotld is a passenger by the Zealandia for Fiisco.
Burglary. The green grocery store of Mrs Motion, Kauingahape Road, was buiglanously entered, and £18 and some jewellery stolen.
