Thf usual monthly meeting of this body was held at the Council Chamber, Hamilton, yesteid.iy. Piescnt .— Cr^. Pumiose, Bai ugh, Johnson, and Seddon. Tho business was pnncipally of a routine character. Relaying pipes on road near Huntly, the chairman was authorised to have this work done. Cr. Johnson was authorised to see Mi Walford, KaiiKinu, and asm tain what required to be done to the road rcfeired to by that gentleman in his letter to the council. The Kngineer w ,s einpovveied to call for tenderh for planting willows along the river road between Churchill and Kan&iiin. A number of accounts were passed for payment.
